From our campsite near Amersfoort you can easily spend a day in the bustling city! Strolling through the historic center you will find numerous boutiques and well-known fashion chains. Did you know that Amersfoort was even voted the best city in Europe? This special city is very easy to reach from our campsite. So with a nice bike ride you are within 45 minutes in the best city in Europe.
In between shopping, there is plenty of culture to take in. The medieval city has a number of noteworthy sights such as the "Koppelpoort" and "Onze Lieve Vrouwen Toren." And when walking the "photo route" all the highlights can be grabbed right away. In short, a great city to visit during your vacation at Utrechtse Heuvelrug.

With us, there is a lot organized at the campsite for young & old. For example, our young guests can join the kids club every morning. Crafts, singing, dancing or a game, there is always something fun to do.
We have a youth basement where they can chill out and have forest walks, a game night or good coffee for our 50+ guests.
We also have show nights, cabin building, a beautiful and popular volleyball court and bingo nights and quiz nights that are for young & old!
An ideal group location!
Vacation Park De Heigraaf is also a perfect destination for groups. For example, come and enjoy group camping with your friends and/or family.
Or are you organizing a large event with your caravan club, for example? On our specially equipped group fields there is enough space for small and large groups.
There are also several army tents for rent where you can stay with your group. A fun experience and above all very cozy!
The facilities at our campground make it a great place to come for group camping. Children can do crafts with the entertainment, participate in the foam party and play in the playground while seniors can play pool, play darts or enjoy the Henschotermeer .

Our campsite as a starting point to discover the area
Although Amersfoort is only 15 to 20 minutes from our campsite, there is much more to do in the vicinity of our campsite. From here you can go in all directions. Walking & cycling you can follow one of the many routes of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug or enjoy the nature in the Gelderse Vallei.
There are also plenty of villages & towns for cultural excursions, such as visiting the Railway Museum, Amerongen Castle or the Kröller Möller museum.
Events in the region are also worth visiting, such as the summer fair in Woudenberg or for young & old the Heideweek in Ede.
A very pleasant week of festivities where there is plenty to do and experience. This was just the tip of the iceberg.
'Very nice large campsite with mix of small camping fields larger camping fields. The plumbing I have not come across anywhere else before, great quality (with even the ability to bathe) and cleaned often in a day. Everything looks extremely well cared for at the park, staff and owner always help us with a smile.
And all for a reasonable price. Definitely recommended for families and seniors.'

Camping at Henschotermeer
The Henschotermeer is a much-visited lake in the wide surroundings of the campsite. It is therefore known as one of the most beautiful lakes in the Netherlands. Parents with children, youth and couples can be found during the summer on the sandy beach and in the water for a little coolness.
Did you know that Henschotermeer is ideal for small children? This is because the lake has several large shallow sections that allow children to play in the water under supervision. You will also find a playground equipment in the eastern part of the lake. Finally, there is a snack bar/ terrace where you can go for a nice snack or drink.
Our campsite at Henschotermeer is located directly on the lake, allowing our guests to take their spot on the waterfront within minutes.
